CAT/GRE/SAT/IBPS VOCABULARY WITH ROOT WORDS AND MNEMONICS-8

Root: Latin con- (together) + trahere (to pull)

Mnemonic:
“CONTRACT = pull together → shrink.”

Picture idea:
A balloon slowly losing air and shrinking

Root: Informal English (jig = move around)

Mnemonic:
“RE-JIG = do it again in a new way.”

Picture idea:
Furniture being rearranged in a room

Root: Latin percolare = to strain through

Mnemonic:
